Bike Riding

I went bike riding on Sunday. Took some pictures.
The ride was pretty good. Summer is great. There are green things everywhere -- but living in the city and riding along in the wild places in the city, isn't much to brag about. Usually the wild places straddle some creek or small river that also serves as part of the sewage network that transports the crap from our homes to treatment plants -- or worst -- the great dumping at some nearby lake.
The smell in the wild places -- wild. It's a beauty to look at, but at spots, you don't want to stop and breathe in nature.

... in the Rain

I've always wanted to take pictures of raindrops ... dripping off something ... like the cool pictures I've seen others take. Never had the opportunity until I drove my daughter to work in the rain. I had the camera with me. Nothing was going to stop me this time.

My daughter and I went to the Toronto Comics Arts Festival. It was a disappointment. So much so, that the only pictures I took were of the subway ride.

Waiting for Spring
