San Francisco

I flew out to San Francisco from Toronto -- it was a 5.5 hr trip -- but I gained 3 hours due to the time zones. Here are some shots taken that afternoon/night.

When I got there, I had dinner with a friend in Chinatown.

I was attending the PeopleSoft Connect conference in SF.

My wife and I went to Toronto's Distillery District yesterday. It was the first time there for both of us, even though I've driven by there many times.

My wife and I visited the Cabbagetown festival today. It was nice. Very, very multicultural.

The Parking Lot
Here's the view I am afforded from my desk at the office. I will be moving to another location in October -- somehow I think I'm going to be losing the view.

Bike Riding at Sunset

This sign is just way too funny!

I went out bike riding yesterday evening as the sun was getting low in the sky. I stayed out way after dark and managed to get some nice shots of the sunset. At one point, the sky looked as if it was on fire -- my wife said it looked like lava.

Horse-back Riding

Meow! (We didn't ride the cat.)
I was bored while waiting for our horses to be saddled up.

My youngest daughter and I went horse-back riding. She's good at it. I usually get my ass hurt. But I do it for her anyway.

We went up to a small town outside of Barrie to go riding. There are places closer to Toronto, but who wants to ride between sub-divisions?

I haven't taken much photographs in a while. I've been too busy with the day job. However, I did manage to snap a few pics while out with my wife celebrating her birthday with our girls and family. Here they are.

Something else that I just discovered and am experimenting with, is an online store. It's hosted by CafePress. Fellow photographers who would like to see their works published -- or just have family and friends have their photographs on postcards, greeting cards, and clothing, can check out the site. The free/basic shop will be good enough for most. But if you have higher aspirations, you have to pay for the service to have more works available.
